SIR (Stichting Industriële Reiniging)
The aim of the Stichting Industriële Reiniging (Industrial Cleaning Foundation) (SIR) is to promote and regulate safe working in industrial cleaning situations.
As part of this mission the SIR has developed guidelines for safe working that apply for all SIR-affiliated companies. One of the obligations for these companies is that their employees must be in possession of SIR certificates, proving that they are well prepared for a safe execution of their tasks.

Training courses with SIR exams
SIR exams are meant for employees and operational supervisors who work in the Industrial Cleaning sector. SAIO is a member of the SIR since 1992 and has, via its training courses, succesfully prepared thousands of people for the SIR exams. SAIO offers training courses with SIR exams in the following fields of industrial cleaning: High Pressure Water Jet Cleaning, Pressure Vacuum Cleaning and Respiratory Protection - Life Support Units.More information about the SIR and its exams can be found on www.sir-safe.nl.

Course structure
Most of the SIR training courses consist of a theoretical and a practical part and take 1 or 2 days. The exams will be conducted by SIR Examiners, as part of the course or in a separate session. All participants should bring the appropriate personal protective equipment to the training courses. The Open Enrollment courses are suitable for individuals and small groups. Depending on the target group and training location, the training course can be customized.SIR exams and certificats
SIR exams consist of a theoretical and, in many cases, a practical part. The theoretical part will be assessed in writing. In case a participant has a language barrier and / or is dyslectic, the theoretical part of the exams HDS and Respiratory B can be examined via a reading exam. The certificates for the SIR training are valid for two to three years. Go to the relevant training for the exact validity.Language
Besides Dutch, there are different language options- The HDS and HDM exams are also possible in French and German
- The DVM exam is possible in French.
