Standby Guard Confined Spaces

In the training course 'Standby guard confined spaces', we train our course attendants all safety regulations and procedures for working in confined spaces, such as tanks, pipelines, cellars, etc. With this type of -high- risk environment there are special precautions to be taken before entry of a confined space is regarded as safe enough. Under the Dutch SOG regulations, SAIO Safety Training provides a 1 day training and exam, that will grant the succesful participant to this course the permit to work as a safety guard, watching the work from outside of the confined space.

The tasks and duties of this responsible person are also described and managed in the 'work permit' procedures that are common practice in The Netherlands in the Oil & Gas sector.

This training course could be also very benificial for personnel on vessels or rigs, at which confined spaces are present.
