HUET + EBS (valid with 0.5A/BOSIET)
HUET is short for 'Helicopter Underwater Escape Training' and EBS represents Emercency Breathing System. This training is for offshore personnel
who travel from and to their work with a helicopter and therefore require safety training. The course HUET EBS + is only valid in combination with 0.5A/BOSIET. For this training a valid medical examination required.
This training-course is also useful for holders of the STCW Basic Safety
Certificate, who use heli-transfers to their vessel.
Content training
During this course participants learn all about:
Helicopter Safety
EBS (Emergency Breathing Systems)
In this trainingcourse a number of pre-described practical
escape-exercises from our heli in our Swimmingpool, have to be
mastered by the course attendants.
Diploma / Certificate
OPITO Approved HUET including EBS. This certificate is valid for 4 years. Within 4 years you must repeat this course.
Languages
By default, SAIO offshore courses are in the English language. For Dutch, dates on request (if enough participants).
Location
SAIO location, approved by and conform requirements of NOGEPA, OPITO & OLF.
Conditions for participation
Participants in this course must have a medical certificate showing that they have physically fit to participate in this training.
Price
Prices are including books, location, exam, certification, lunch, coffee/tea. Not included are:
- Transport to and from selected hotels - € 15,- per day.
- OPITO registration fee - € 45, --
- 19% VAT. All prices mentioned are ex. VAT
