0.8 H2S

The NOGEPA 0.8 H2S training is a mandatory safety training for personnel (onshore and offshore) in close contact with H2S sensitive installations. In most instances, this concerns staff from the oil and gas industry. But this course is also suitable for employees who work with: sewers, sewage treatment plants, manure and waste, where possible H2S occurs. 

Content training

The purpose of the NOGEPA 0.8 H2S training is to train participants in the safe handling procedures in work environments where the deadly H2S (hydrogen sulphide) can be released. Participants learn more about:

• H2S regulations and the Working Conditions Act
• lH2S hazard and properties
• working with H2S at the location
• personal protective equipement
• escape procedures
• first aid for victims H2S

Diploma / Certificate

NOGEPA Approved  Validity: 10 years

Languages

By default, STC-SAIO offshore courses are in the English language. For Dutch, dates on request (if enough participants).

Location

STC-SAIO location, approved by and conform requirements of  NOGEPA.

Conditions for participation

The participants of this course must have a medical registration, to show that they are physically fit to participate in this training.

Price

Prices are including books, location, exam, certification, lunch, coffee/tea. Not included are:  

• Transport to and from selected hotels - € 15,- per day.
• 19% VAT. All prices mentioned are ex. VAT
