0.5B, FOET + OLF-supplement (Universal Refresher)

The course 0.5B, FOET + OLF Supplement (Universal Refresher) is a refresher course for those who already have followed the 0.5A Universal Basic Training (Offshore training). A refresher course for offshore staff and staff employed in the maritime and fishing industry, to refresh survival techniques, medical knowledge and survival at sea. 

Content training

During this course particpants learn what they need to know about:

• safety induction
• lifeboat theory/pratice
• survival theory/practice
• helicpoter safety/HUET
• first aid
• hypothermia
• fire fighting
• Norwegian offshore transport suit + integrated ERBS (OLF)
• Norwegian escape chute

Diploma / Certificate

OPITO / NOGEPA & OLF Approved / Accepted NSOC D-Basic. This certificate is valid for 4 years. Within 4 years you must repeat this course with 0.5 B / FOET.

Languages

By default, STC-SAIO offshore courses are in the English language. For Dutch, dates on request (if enough participants).

Location

STC-SAIO location, approved by and conform requirements of NOGEPA, OPITO and OLF.

Conditions for participation

Valid medical certificate for offshore workers.

Price

Prices are including books, location, exam, lunch, coffee/tea. Not included are:

• Transport to and from selected hotels - € 15,- per day.
• OPITO registration costs - € 45,-
• 19% VAT. All prices mentioned are ex. VAT
